Bermuda triangle... Some of you viewers might have heard that name. Yes the Bermuda Triangle is also known as Devil’s Triangle.
Some articles say devils are at play here. That’s why some people know it as the devils triangle.
As a young teenager I like to read things that have mystery in it. Not been solved and not knowing if it’s true or not. I like those sorts of books/articles.
The ships and boats that have entered the bermuda triangle have never been seen again. People blame Methane Gas that pulls the planes and boats down. So far thats all I know about the bermuda triangle. Next week I’ll find out more and tell you about it.

I Need Candy!!
On one spooky Halloween night were 4 kids, named Jason,Kent, Rita and Sally. Jason dressed up as Dracula and Kent was a ghost,Rita was Mavis the girl vampire and Sally was a angle.
“Ready to get your scare on?” Asked Kent.
“Yea I’m in the mood for scaring ” Replied Rita
Off they went to the first house. Racing up to the door Sally arrived first. When Sally knocked a witched opened the door. They were surprised.
“TRICK OR TREAT” yelled the kids.
The lady was quite. She looked like she was thinking. “Treat.” Her hand went behind the door and she pulled out a large red bowl. She gave them a hand full of lollies each. They were happy to get there first pieces of lollies.
Off to the next house they walked looking at what kind of lollies they had.
“Boo”! Shouted these older kids as they snatched the bags of lollies.
Jason was angry, frustrated and annoyed. They didn’t know what to do! Rita was smart, she wanted to get her candy back but how?
As they were planning to get there candy back they thought of something. They planned to get what was rightfully theirs. “We need String, and 2 strong posts. Lets spread out and try find the perfect place.”Said Jason
“We could do it at my house” Kent suggested.
Setting up the trap at Kent's house they were ready. Luckily the older guys didn’t know it was kent’s house. BANG!!! came from outside. So running wildly outside Kent, Rita, Tanisha and Jason."Hahaha who laughing now" said Jason.
“Mmmm. nice to finally meet you” said Jason talking to his lollies.
They looked in the bags and saw that the older guys had gotten more lollies. So they had 4 bags and they were all going to share, therefore Rita thought to give the guys 1 bag. She grab a bag and put 3 handfuls of lollies in the bag.She ran outside and handed it to them.

Do It Your-self?
DIY ... For the people that dont know what DIY stands for it means, Do it yourself. Doing things yourself that you don't know how to do, is hard!
Have you seen those dip dye t-shirts? They look really cool to me. Since this term is all about Toy story I thought I could make a dip dye t-shirt for my cosin.
Some readers might say a t-shirt isn't a toy! Well my cousin is a teenager and teenagers don’t really have toys that they can play with unlike little kids.
I know that this will be a challenge. But I accept that challenge. The budget is under $5 or you could find it at home. The Dye is $2 so I have $3 left. I have made up a list of things I need: Plain White T-shirt, Coat Hanger, Bucket, Hottest tap water, Detergent, Stick or something to mix tops with, Dip Dye~Blue, Gloves, Timer and Salt.
I have sketched out a design on a paper and drew what the finished product should look like. So far I think it looks really

Toy story
The start of the term has arrived with excitement. Not knowing what the topic is left me clueless... “What could it be?” I asked my self.
Walking thru the breeze with Tui we see “Toy story”on a blackboard. “TOY STORY!” I say to her, unsure. We look at each other “Hmmm is it the movie?” She replied. We walked to class and saw Mr barks with blond hair and a sign around his neck saying ”Have you seen barbie?” By the time Tui and I saw that we said out loud “Ken” Barbie's boyfriend.
Our topic “Toy story” isn’t the movie! it is the memories that you had with your toys or the teddy bear that you cuddle at night.

Who Inspires Me?
When you’re little you meet people who inspires you. Like for example some little boys look up to Superman or Spiderman.The whole point of this is who do I look up too, who inspires me to be my best.
Thinking about this is difficult there are a few people who inspire me. My Mum, Dad and other siblings. But thinking about this all, I know that my mother has been there and supports me even tho I make alot and I MEAN ALOT of mistakes.
Have you heard brown brother by Joshua? It’s really inspiring, even tho I’m not brown it is still inspiring.Because of his speech he has been heard throughout New Zealand. If you haven't Watched or heard Brown brother, here is the link.

Having Trouble Writing (Take 2)
Writing... ERR! Writing is so hard sometimes! One week you're full of great ideas and the next, you're all out. This week, I was at a loss, so I said to myself, “Why not write about the fact, that I don’t have a clue what to write about?
Don’t you hate it when you need ideas and you have none. You’re waiting, waiting and by the time you have an idea, it’s the day befor you post! Well you're not alone.
Sometimes my friends have trouble writing. Sometimes they write about their friends and family, that’s great but I need more inspiration. Well eggless enuf to write 4 to 5 paragraph.
Even teachers have trouble thinking about what to writing about. “How do you know that” you might ask... Well, just ask Mr Barks, my teacher. He has trouble find out what to write, He told me himself!

Having trouble writing

Is the world really going to end?
Is the world going to end this year? That is a hard question to answer, isn’t it. Well I guess it’s basicly yes or no, but do you have the proof to prove it? For my writing I will search the web to find out “is the World going to end?”
Who should I believe? Is it or is it not, there is one site in particular that says the world is going to end. It hooked me in like this “Apparently, the world is going to end on December 21st, 2012. Yes, you read correctly” and so on, it goes on to saying you should prepare and do the things that you wanted to but were too scared to do.
But before you leave, listen to what else I found on the world not ending. We as the people of Earth don’t know how and when the world is going to end. So the Earth may one day end but surely not now.
Wow! There many good reasons not to believe the world is going to end, but there is also a reason why the Earth may not end. After all the information I’ve read my conclusion and my thoughts are the world is not going to end.

Why Australia?
Australia... Why are so much people going to Ossy! If you don’t know how far New Zealand to Australia is... Well we say we're just across the ditch from each other.
The reason why I’m talking about Ozzy is because two of my closes friends Ramona and Ngametua are leaving to go on an adventure (Without me)! I wish I could go with you!
Luckily I still have this year to hang out with you. Have fun in the sun and may all the luck be in your way. Being an Australian must be fun, that’s why alot of New Zealanders are there. Enjoy your chance and your new beginning.

Rising stars are common these days! One Direction, Cher Lloyd just to name a few! But the one star that I absolutely adore is Carly Rae Jepsen!
She is my favorite artist at the moment! My favorite song that she sings is Curiosity.The reason why I like this song is because of the story that it tells. Our little secret!
Do you like my title “Our little secret?” The whole point of our little secret is... “YOU DON’T TELL ANYONE!” It’s only our little secret!
When is your birthday? Do you like celebrating your birthday? Does that give you enough clues to guess what our secret is.Well if you didn’t get the clues, my I mean our secret is my birthday is coming up! I know it is not a big deal but I would like to keep it a secret. Some people like celebrating their birthday, but at school I don’t!
Yes, I know some of you might be saying “why don’t you like celebrating your birthday at school.” Well I will answer that question, it’s not really that I hate having my birthday at school I just don’t like everyone saying “HAPPY BIRTHDAY.”
But I love celebrating my birthday at home with family and friends! This year Tui and Rita are invited to spend the day full of activities and fun. My birthday is August the 16th but I’m going to celebrate it on the 18th of August instead.

Fencing
This term is all about the london olympics! We were given the task to write about one Olympic sport that were not really familiar with, and get to know more about the sport. I have decided that I would like to know more about... FENCING.
I am going to make a promise to you, and I will keep it. Each week for this term, I will learn about one particular sport from the London Olympics and I will tell you what I learnt. I will start this week.
Fencing was first introduced in the London Olympics, the year of 1896. This sport is divided into three Foil, Sabre and Épée. In each division you are allowed to hit in certain places and in some places you hit you will be. Were you can see the orange is where you’re allowed to hit. If it is not orange you CAN NOT HIT THERE! But this is only Épée.This is Foil. Can you see where your aloud to hit?This is Sabre you can only hit the upper part of the body. Including the head and arms.

Goals for Go for Gold
“Go for Gold” is our motto this term. A motto is a phrase of a short sentence. What do you think go for gold means? Well, I think it’s another way of saying “If you work hard you can be the best you can be.”
We were given a task to find out what we're not really good at, or what we want to improve in. We have to do it physically not mentally so... I have taken the challenge to learn how to play (drum roll please) Tennis! Yes, I have picked Tennis because I've never played this sport before and I really want to get better at playing it, plus it looks really cool to play.
How I will achieve this goal. Well I will do a test at the start to see if I can hit the ball correctly and see how good I’m playing. By Practising I will eventfully be perfect.

Term 2 London Olympic
The start of the term 3 is here and as always we have an immersion assembly. This term we are learning about The London Olympics! You may have read some of my other posts and are saying "why are you talking about the London Olympics again."
Well as we know the London Olympics are coming soon, I can’t hardly wait. Before 1896 Women were not allowed to compete in the olympics, they weren’t even allowed to watch the event! In 1900 was the first ever olympics that Women were allowed to compete in. This year's Olympics are really special because this year Women are allowed to compete in every event.
My favourite sport that I’m looking forward to, are: Tennis and Archery. Why did I only say those two, because they're my top two favourite events in the Olympics. I like Tennis because it is a hard sport and it takes a lot of strength and practice. Also the reason why I like Archery is because of the concentration, the arrow and the bow.
So this term is all about the London Olympics and our motto is "Go for Gold." We were given the task to find something that we want to improve in. My choice is to learn how to play tennis. Do you have a goal or something you want to achieve?

London Olympics
The Olympics are coming up and I am so “EXITED! “Did you know that the olympics are held every 4 years?” It’s not always held in the same place...
This year the olympics are being held in London. London... What a great place to have it. With the Big Ben you're sure to know when each event is on!
The sport I’m looking forward to is Equestrian. I am a fan of Equestrian because of the horses. I love animals! Along with all the jumps and tricks, I think those trainers and horses are amazing.
At the london olympics there are three things they have to show what they have trained their horses , Eventing and Jumping. Each discipline requires different skills from the riders and horses competing.

My favourite place
Sand in between your toes, running to where the water flows.
Splashing, playing, falling down, that's just the start of having fun.
The beach is where I’d like to be whenever I’d like to see the sea.
On the sand we play all day until the end, we play and play.
This term our topic is “Art Alive”. We were given the task to find our favourite place and take a photo. For what, you all might ask. Well... At the end of the term we are having an art show in our school, to show off all of our Art, how cool is that!

Happy Mothers day
Happy Mothers day to all the Mothers. Hope you had a lovely day. What did
you do for Mothers day? Well here's what I did for my Mum. My Dad and I woke up earlier than usual, and made my Mum breakfast in bed. When she finished we cleaned up the house. We settled down and watched movies for the rest of the day. My dad made a nice dinner with Meat, Potatoes and veggies, I didn’t like the vegetables that much but I still ate them. I hoped you enjoyed Mothers day just like I did, even though it’s not my day!

My new Pandora charm
Can you see that charm, well that is my newest addition to my pandora bracelet. My Mum and I made a bet. If the warriors win then she has to buy me a charm and if they lose I have to let her choose my brothers name.

My Novel
This term each reading group is given a novel. My group “Trumps” was given “Percy Jackson and the lightning thief” to read I’ve watched the movie but I think the book is going to be better. I’m looking forward to reading Percy Jackson and the lightning thief and I hope my group is excited as well!
