My Novel

This term each reading group is given a novel. My group “Trumps” was given “Percy Jackson and the lightning thief” to read I’ve watched the movie but I think the book is going to be better. I’m  looking forward to reading Percy Jackson and the lightning thief and I hope my group is excited as well!

Art Alive

This term is all about art, but the question is ....What is art? Art is many things, pictures, paintings, statues there all to do with art. The first week back at school we learnt about a few artists.

Every artist has a different style. Picasso  looked at things from a different perspective and Claude Monet paints with small strokes to make it look more realistic. Colors can tell you a story. Red can mean you're angry, blue can be you’re sad  and yellow can be you’re happy. Next time you see a piece of artwork look at the colors they used.

Family...Cousins, Aunties ,Uncles.
There the most important thing to me in the whole world.
Sometimes they can be embarrassing but, that's there own way of saying
“I love you!”

My Plan

Here is my plan that I follow ever day to get all my work done, so I can have time to spare.Do you have a plan that you follow? Well if you don’t I suggest you make one. It tells you when you change to a different activities. So when it comes to Thursday you have succeeded and you have worked really hard!

Well that is me and my dad. You may have not known because this photo was taken a long time ago! Don’t you think we look alike, I don’t. One day I was looking for a picture of our trip to Rarotonga and I found this. Don't we look beautiful.

News review

Here is a story that caught my eye when I was reading the New Zealand herald. It is about some kids in a van.

Sky city...One van, five children left alone while there parents went to gamble.

In the van the youngest at 5-months old, left unsupervised about 45 minutes. On Sunday, security guards worked with police to get the children out of the van,
after a pair of strangers found them trapped and crying.
Their parents were found in the casino.
There were concerns about the children before this sky city
incident happened.

The thing is, the more machine there are, the more problem gambling will
stand that's what I think . All five children have been placed in child care. There parents were
not able to stick to the agreement they made to provide their children's safety.

Hi my name is Jasmine. My full name is Jasmine Melanie Tutira Patia.

I'm 11 years old and I'm half Cook Island and half Maori.

My mums name is Maria and My dads name is Pare and I have one little brother on the way.

My birthday is on August the 16Th .

One thing you should know about me is that I love to travel. I have been to Rarotonga, Hawaii and America and a lot more if you look bake at my past blog post you will find some of my trips!
